     A former co-worker of mine from KOBI-TV in Medford posted this picture on Facebook. I was so overwhelmed with the support I received from people I had never heard of before, that I had to share their comments on my blog site.

My friend Monte Muirhead just lost his Mom right before Christmas. Monte is also battling cancer. I know you may not know him, but please lift him up in your prayers.

At the risk of alienating my other journalism colleagues, you were/are one of the few broadcasters who is sincere, and if you have an ego, you don't let it show. smile emoticon
