My cousin, Dan Hatcher, was thoughtful enough to post his thoughts about the memorial service for my mother, Lucille Muirhead, that I decided to share his Facebook entry on my blog site so that it wouldn't get lost with time.

Connie and I had a busy day driving down to Roseburg and back. We went down to my Aunt Lucille's funeral service. She is my Dad's next older Sister and would've been 87 at the end of the year. She is now with the Lord and has a perfect body and no pain. Dad has one more older Sister, my Aunt Doris, and she is still getting around wonderfully. It was nice seeing so many of my first cousins that I hadn't seen for awhile. My cousins there (by age) were; Aunt Lucille's children; David, Melody, Laurie, and Monte and Aunt Doris's children; Ronald, Richard, and Ruth. Cousin AIM Missionary, Ron Holcomb, helped officiate and gave a wonderful message. Grand daughter Lindsey Quigley, Laurie and David's daughter, played piano and did a beautiful job.
